Here we fish mainly common carp (scaled carp) and mirror carp ("German carp"). We have many and many fishes here in France and big specimens in river or closed water. We find mainly common carps in the rivers and mainly mirror and leather carp in the lakes and ponds, also grass carp (sogyo) We estimate the fish not with the length but only with the weight of the fish (not in com but in kg)

私達は主に真鯉や鏡鯉を釣ります。フランスにはたくさんの魚がいて、川や湖沼（閉鎖性水域）には巨鯉がいます。川では主に真鯉が見られ、湖や池では主に鏡鯉と革鯉、草魚も見られます。私達は魚を体長ではなく体重で評価します。

Since some years, carp fishing had a big evolution (revolution) in Europe, coming mainly and first from England. Carp anglers became "Carpists", that means respect of the fish and of the nature and of course "no kill" = catch and release

数年来、鯉釣りは主にイングランドをはじめとしてヨーロッパにおいて大きな進化（改革）をとげました。カープアングラーは”カーピスト”になったのです。それは鯉に対する尊敬、自然に対する尊敬を意味し、もちろん”no kill”＝キャッチ・アンド・リリースします。

When we fish, our goal is to catch the fish (and release it after the photo) but also not to wound the fish. That's why we try not to damage the mouth and lips of the fish, and not to mutilate in any way. When the carp is out of the water we put it on a special carpet that we call "reception carpet". If we fish by night and if we can't make a photo we put the fish in a conservation bag and we make the photo when the day comes.

釣りをする際、私達の目的は魚をキャッチすること（写真撮影後にリリースする）であり、傷つけることではありません。そのため魚の口や唇にダメージを与えないように、そして切断しないように努めます。鯉を水から上げた時は、レセプションカーペットと呼ばれる特別なカーペット上に鯉を乗せます。もしも夜に釣れたり、あるいは写真が撮れない場合は、写真撮影まで魚を保護バッグに入れておきます。
